TOM & timing of water retention?

Hi friends! This one is for the ladies, a poll of sorts. Curious, how you find the timing of the onset of water retention relates to TOM? Do you start retaining a day or two before, basically right at the beginning, or a day after? And for how long after it's gone does the water retention reside?

I'm anticipating him literally any time, but interestingly no retention weight yet! I've never really paid attention before to the exact timing...

I retain water around ovulation, and it quickly drops off in a 4-5 day time span right before my period starts.

I start retaining a week or two before I start. However, last month I didn't at all and never got that bloated feeling. I actually lost weight that week, which is not normal for me. It was my first period since really getting into ketosis so I'm hoping this months will be the same.

I noticed anywhere from 2-5 days before that I would be up a pound or two, and it would linger for a day or two into it.

I'm like this. I've noticed that in the days leading up to TOM I have a "whoosh" of weight loss. This is new--used to retain water in the days before and lose it the first day or two of TOM.

Interesting guys! I was normal low in the morning, but then when I got home from work yesterday, I was up about 2 lbs heavier than usual afternoon weight, and then he showed up last night. Mine really seems to come right around the time of TOM.

I retain water about a day before it comes, but how much is highly variable. Anytime I jump up more than half a pound without another reason I get suspicious. I'm on depo, so my periods are slowly disappearing and that jump is my best warning.
