    I started on the 1000 cal. plan that includes one meal of 4 oz. very lean protein and 1 cup raw or 1/2 cup of cooked veggies. In the beginning I ate of lot of salads with a variety of flavored vinegars. I am a big fan of the products at Under The Olive Tree http://undertheolivetree.net/ and have expanded using them on more than just salads. Adds a lot of flavor to fish, seafood and poultry as well as steamed veggies with virtually no added calories.

    Chipotle. OK this isn't cooking - BUT it was nice to order at a restaurant.....I also tried beans instead of chicken and kept the meal down to 185 calories - woot! low-cal mmmmm...
    Chipotle - Chicken (Meat Only), 4 oz 180

    Chipotle - Green Tomatillo Salsa, 2 fl. oz. 15
    Chipotle - Bowl - Fajita Veggies, 2.5 oz 20

    I've been mixing non fat Greek yogurt with frank's red hot and it makes a great dip to add some flavor to raw veggies, chicken etc... Taste just like buffalo sauce!
