Marla I'm anxious to hear about the inspection!
I've done two things successfully that worked for me when I want dessert. One is to buy the light yogurt in dessert flavors, like the Yoplait ones. For 90-100 calories I'm getting something sweet, plus some nutritional payoff. I currently have fruit. It's not cheesecake, but it ends up being sweet enough to satisfy my craving for something sweet. Not recently but I've also done sugar free gelatin or the lower cal pudding cups. They're more expensive in the cups but then it's pre-portioned out.0 -
Laura - glad Jason is okay! Hopefully he can still train as it would be crushing to qualify for Kona and not be able to go!
Marla - I do the same thing as Laura. I like to get the Greek yogurt individual containers and eat those as a dessert. The other one I do is dole dippers. They have bananas or strawberries covered in dark chocolate. Tasty and usually under 100 calories. Also, to break the habit of eating right before bed, I try to brush my teeth and floss. That usually helps to deter snacking. Can't wait to hear about how the inspection went!
Yesterday ended up being a rest day. I didn't get my bike in...I'm doing it this morning. But I did get all my household chores done, and finished entering about 50 PTO membership forms onto a spreadsheet so everyone can find the information easily! I feel much less stressed now so I think I made the right choice. After a crazy weekend of running around, I was feeling stressed that my house was completely out of whack which makes getting through the school week very difficult! It has also been 10 days since the last time we went out to eat, so we went out last night to a local Chinese place. I had some chow fun which was delicious!
I'm off to the Y to bike. I also have my prayer meeting this morning, and then heading to my personal training after I drop my oldest two off at school! Then making a quick stop at the store on the way home to get my youngest from preschool. Tonight our bible study is starting back up and we're having a surprise party for one of the members. I'm cooking dinner for everyone...a crockpot recipe so shouldn't be too bad. Busy day, hoping to take the afternoon for some downtime and some time with hubby!

The inspection went pretty good and he found no leaks. Need new heat system and water heater and a few minor things. We are asking for $5800 off price of home for these. It all depends on the people but realtors seem to think will go ok. Hubby wont budge on money off because we are at max of our savings so let you know in a few days what people say, we are signing addendum and sending to them this afternoon.
I use greek yogurt as a dressing and not into flavored ygurt so thats not a treat for me. Years ago i was able to use low cal jello to get me off. I hate eating anything with chemicals and preservatives but might have to to get me to cut this bad habit.
Once my stress level goes down with move that should help.
Another smokey hot day, going to walk around Home Depot for exercise! Lol Y is closed till monday for yearly cleaning.0
