Laura - glad that you and apparently Jason are doing so much better!
I ran 6 miles yesterday. It was not fast, but faster than last week. It was 45% humidity which is truly awful in Phoenix. Thankfully I went running before the sun came up so it was bearable. But I was dripping wet from sweat when I made it home. Led to a rough recovery, took a nap to stave off a migraine. Would have been worse if I had forgotten to eat something before I ran. Thankfully I did so I only had a mild headache at the end...not a migraine.
Rest day today...only a Pilates class to help loosen everything up.

I overdid it Thursday, was exhausted Friday, woke up a little tired this morning but had a great run, then crashed a couple hours later. A couple of naps & some extra (intentional) calories and I'm feeling much better. We'll see how tomorrow goes.
Val it sounds like eating something before your runs is making a pretty big difference? I can't imagine the heat there with humidity on top of it. Good for you for getting out there!
Was only 75 here today but very humid. Storms are rolling in so I have a fan in my window blowing in the cool fresh air that comes right before the storm. Just saw my first flash of lightning but the rain isn't here yet. We're under a tornado watch until midnight, but they're rare this close to Lake Superior.0 -
Hi, out of town all day ordering appliances for new house. Yes I had Cod last night from Alaska, it was great.
Fun day, lots of walking on beach, we went to crescent city for home depot then went to beach.
Great until drve back smoke blew in...ugh..rain please come!!0
