    Success/struggles of the week: my success was that some coworkers and I went to an all you can eat buffet for lunch on Friday and I only made one trip to the buffet. My struggle is my weigh in this morning. I feel like my body betrayed me.

    Struggles or successes of your week:
    Weighed in Saturday, and was at 259.0, then weighed in today (doctors appointment) so I'm going to post todays weight for the "official" weekly weigh-in. I know that my muscles are probably full of water from my run last night, because they feel sort of full/heavy; but I'm okay with leaving a higher weight in this week and letting it catch up whenever it's ready.

    Got my bike up and running Saturday morning, then cranked out 16 miles. After not riding for a month and a half (due to a mechanical failure took me too long to fix) it felt great to be able to just go again.

    Cycling - 15.9 miles (100 Miles)
    Jogging/Running - 8.64 miles (25 Miles)

    Success or Struggles of the week: I know a 9.6 loss seems unhealthy, however I believe it is my true 2 week loss. Last week I did amazing, then went to a football party and drank. I weighed in the next morning and had gained. After speaking with a few friends this week who have undergone their own weight loss journey's, they have convinced me that the worst day to weigh in is after a party due to water retention from drinking and sodium. So, since I plan on moderately enjoying the football parties this season, I have changed my weigh in days to the morning of football, not the morning after.

    Success/struggles of the week: Staying emotionally calm was a great success for me. My struggle was with tracking. I had that voice in my head telling me it was too difficult to figure everything out so why bother.

    Struggles and successes of the week
    Good week logging, maintained my streak and managed to cope with quite a heavy weekend: we'd arranged for three different groups of friends to come over for dinner on Friday and Saturday and a Sunday lunch yesterday. Despite that I even managed to bring my total calories a few hundred closer to my overall monthly goal. I absolutely crushed my exercise goal for the week, going from ~4k behind the curve towards my monthly target last Monday to 25k ahead today. My legs are quite heavy this morning from the weekend's exertions, so I wonder (hope!) that perhaps there's a bit more of a loss hidden in there this week once that washes out.

    Struggle - WEEKENDS. I don't *have* to walk for 80 mins for the school run so I don't get exercise unless I organise us all going out. This weekend was a very lazy stay at home one, plus I caved and bought a takeaway. Next weekend will be a lot different, it's too much work to mess up.

    Success - being able to just see the blips for what they are, and just carry on afterwards. Also, Already my feet and back hurt a lot less... and I just feel better for taking care of myself more :)

    I feel that my biggest struggle is getting discouraged when I see the scale go up a pound or two. It can have the tendency to send me on a downward spiral. That's why I try not to weigh too much but I do weigh more than once a week for accountability purposes (ie, weigh-in day I have a cheat meal ... or cheat day, thinking that I have a week to "burn it off". Since I know that I work like that, I try to weigh every few days. August I lost and re-gained the same 5 lbs and I let it get to me mentally. I've started working out a little bit and I'm hoping that will help with stress, sleep, etc. So we'll see how it goes...

    Success or Struggles of the week: Still gaining weight from the plasmapheresis this past week. August was a roller coaster for me from a medical and stress perspective, but the treatments have been worth it, I'm able to walk my dog, take stairs, go shopping, etc again. In fact I'm feeling the best I have in the past three years!!

    I'm hoping for a giant "WOOSH" to lose the 11 pounds gained from the treatments this past two weeks. My plan for the weekend is to batch cook and re-stock my freezer with prepped on-plan meals, in case I tank again as the effects of the treatments wear off.

    I wasn't sure what to put for my goal weight-- 17 pounds seems overly ambitious, but it's only 7 pounds from my lowest in August, and I can exercise a bit so I might hit the 2-3 pounds a week pace I had in June and the start of July. We shall see!

    Success/struggles of the week: my success of the week was passing up on a work party. It felt good. I went to the Ren Faire yesterday and while I did far more sitting than walking I still walked about 100 minutes. When I got home I fainted so maybe I overdid it. We're going back to the Faire today so we'll see what happens.

    Struggles and successes of the week
    Pretty good week of logging - I brought my monthly surplus on total calories down +2225 to +694, so I'm well on track to make up for my heavy weekend at the start of the month by the end of next week. I've decided to abandon the MFP exercise calories as I think the values that it derives from my Jawbone steps are way too high. Perhaps that contributed something to my extra loss this week. I went over 100,000 steps for the first time in a week too, which was a great feeling. Aiming for 110,000 this week which will need me to up my pace as I don't think I can devote 10% more time.
