My Weekly Goals

I decided to post my goals for this week to help keep myself accountable. I switched from CICO/strict calorie counting (useless to me for numerous reasons) to LCHF about a month ago, and am enjoying it very much! Though still have lots of challenges, mainly weekends under the influence of others (family, birthdays, pool side BBQs, etc) have been near disastrous. But I am a work in progress, so here goes for this week:
Water 8x8 at a min (2 Nalgene’s/day)
6k steps per day min
Carbs under 50g
Remember vitamins
Learn to make fat bombs
Try not to put my fitbit through the washing machine (mental note)
Ok, so it’s out there! Started my day with left-over tri-tip, an egg, and low carb blue cheese dressing. Yum! If anyone would like to share a few goals I would love to see them, and get ideas. Happy Monday!

Hello
I need to concentrate on getting more water I think. I've realized that I haven't been drinking enough lately.
Also, carbs under 25g and at least 3 walks of 3+ miles a week and work on building strength using my resistance cords.0 -
My goal is to continue this egg fast for 3-5 days, I haven't decided how long yet exactly. What that means is nothing but eggs, cheese, and fat (plus coffee and water and seasonings) for however long. I started Monday, so I'm already on the second day. I'm also focusing on drinking LOTS of water (4 of my 32-ounce bottle is my goal, but 3 is acceptable) and taking my vitamins daily.
That's is. I'm keeping it simple.0 -
I have been upping my fat, it is kinda hard to get your head around it at the beginning, but so far so good. My other major goal is to not let go over the weekends. I have done really well for the past three weekends and stuck to it, even turned down a wee chocolate on Saturday, didn't even feel like it! Keeping focused and exercising every day, that is taking up all of my head space0

My goal this week goes along with the September challenge. I'm going to look for some new recipe ideas for batch cooking and this weekend I will prepare a few different things and separate and freeze in single serve containers so I have lunch's for the week and maybe breakfast too, depending on what I find. I'm also going to stop indulging in alcoholic beverages each night.0

Great goals everyone! Thanks for more ideas I definately need to up the fat as well hence the fat bomb goal. I am not very hungry on LC, need to get more HF in there somehow. I made some fat bombs this afternoon with almond butter, coconut oil, cocoa powder, allspice and stevia. In the freezer now, I hope they will be good!
I could definately live on eggs, cheese and coffee for a week! My 5 little hens are barely keeping up with our family egg needs right now. More chicks on the way in a few weeks so will have lots of eggs by spring.0 -
Get more fibrous veggies
It always helps me drop pounds
And get some intensity in my lifting this week!
I have rode the bike hard this month at about 500 miles for the month. Time to hit the weights harder and ease back on the bike in Sept.
