Advice needed regarding settings

Calories 1730
Carbohydrates 65 g 15 %
Fat 135 g 70 %
Protein 65 g 15 %

would these proportions be about right to lower my BS and lose weight I am a 16 stone male and aged 67 please advise if not what would you suggest Thanks

    That should work pretty well, but more protein could help. Protein will make you feel full longer and preserve muscle mass. The latter is especially important as you get older.

    I'd go with more protein as wabmester suggests. I eat more protein than that and I'm a young female.

    I'm set at 1800 cal, 5% or 23 carb, 70% or 140 fat & 25% or 113 pro. 1/2 hour light exercise most days.
    I'm 5 ft 7 in & 282 lbs. I'm almost 62. I've been losing 2 to 3 lbs weekly.
