Hi!
^well, these past three months have wrecked me and here I am "beginning" again. :-(0 -
So glad to see you back though! Life is just that way. I'm learning how tough I am on myself, when I'm only human and so there are going to be times of struggle because it's real life. So don't stress it! Can't wait to hear all about how you're doing!
Did my bike sprints yesterday morning and they felt good. I have my long run this morning, which is 6 miles. It just goes up and up from here on out! I'm a little nervous, and a little excited, as my hubby and I officially registered for the rock n roll marathon this January. We'll see how it goes! Didn't use my foam roller for a week and then started using it again Tuesday. Phew! It makes a definite difference! My legs and especially my IT bands were very tight and sore! They're already improved with just a couple nights with the foam roller.
Have. great day everyone!0 -
I come in to read every day but haven't been posting.
Welcome back Sherry! Hope you enjoyed your holiday & family time.
Val it's amazing how many bad things are happening right now with people you know. Just worrying for everyone can be exhausting.
I had a rough day yesterday. Someone at work upset me early in the day and I couldn't shake it off so I was both angry and sad (mix of having my feelings hurt & being pissed about it), my allergies have been horrible, my sleeping is still sporadic, the weather was gloomy (fog & rain), and I just wasn't in the mood for anything.
Yesterday might be the first time I blew off a run just because I didn't want to do it. Usually I don't let myself get away with that, but I knew with my crap attitude it would end up being a crap run. It typically takes me about 4 miles to shake off a bad mood and I haven't built up to that distance yet, so I end up being crabbier at the end of my run instead of feeling better. So I stopped and visited my parents instead, and then went to the gym and had my workout with Jason, and then went home and curled up on my futon with my cat. So I need to run after work tonight. My allergies are still really horrible so I mostly just want to go home and go to bed, but I'll sleep better tonight if I run.0 -
Hi Sherry!
Sorry Laura and Val youv'e been having tough times.
I didn't even know I didn't post yesterday. All we did was laundry.
Went to nia today then out to lunch with class, then saw Into the Woods, cute movie made me want to go to Appalatian trail never been there.
Rash finally isn't itching, fading out and almost gone.
