I've been keto since March, I was hospitalized in the fall and they ran blood tests of all kinds so I had a 'baseline'. In March I started eating mostly healthy fats, mod. protein from grass fed/pastured animals, and lower carbs (about 70-80g/day) mainly in the form of vegetables and berries - the odd corn chip here or there and a scoop of ice cream with my kids after soccer every Wednesday. Well, I know I'm not perfect.... but my bloodwork is!

I've remarkably improved my HDL, my triglycerides were unheard of low, my sugar was great, my potassium and magnesium levels were perfect (I was worried about potassium) and my sodium was CHAMP :) My doctor wants to check me again in October and I'm hoping to have improved further! There is room for improvement in my hdl :) So happy right now :)
