    The closest event to me is in Sparks (Reno) Nevada. Hmmm... I wonder if I could talk hubby into a 4 hour road trip next Friday :)

    There is a Fuddruckers in Orlando near Disney that I frequently stop at. They aren't participating in this. But, I go and get two 1-lb burgers (plain, no bun, same plate) from time to time. It is $18 (plus tax), but they're good. You could always get three of them. No prizes for eating them all. Just awesomeness in your stomach.

    I know. :( I just got really really really excited when I read 3 lb burger challenge.... and then I realized it would include fries and a bun and changed my mind about attempting it.

    *sigh* Me too..... and I have about 2.5 lbs of ground beef at home. Unfortunately I have to share it AND make it stretch a few days.
