    Hey all!

Today I did a nice long walk. Decided to walk in my Chucks. It was long. At times my achilles hurt, but stretching and heel drops helped. Afterwards, the bottom of my feet are crazy sore. All that for so few calories. The distance took 3x longer than running and got me half the calories. :-( I miss running!!! But it did help me clear my head. And I got a few errands done at the same time. I think Monday or Tuesday I'm gonna try a similar long walk in my Merrell's and see how my achilles and calves and soles feel afterward. Just trying to find some hope regarding my achilles.

Hope it's been a good weekend so far!

Thats great for the extra time Sherri! You can work back into exercise again, if running doesn't work plenty of other things!

I had a great class in Ashland, liked the teacher so well I just might do a training with her. She is very high energy and I was exhausted after class.

I should be packing but resting a few hours first, had to get up early to do class out of town.

Been feeling a little off ever since dinner last night, why i think class got me. I wonder if place we went to used msg.

Sherry I'm coming to the conclusion there is no "finish line" when it comes to health & fitness. Sometimes we do great and sometimes we slide and that's just part of the process. We have a small but dedicated group here and we all have our struggles. But what matters is that we never just give up. And we have each other to support us during those times, because we all get it.

Congrats on the closing Marla! Glad the rash is getting better but the dermatologist isn't a bad idea once you're settled. My friend is really into Zumba & they asked her to teach a class. In the end that was going to cost her money too and she decided to stick with taking classes. I enjoy having someone else make the decisions & just have to focus on the actual workout.

Donna hope your body wasn't as sore today and you found something you could do. That's great the eating is going well -- that ends up usually being the hard part for me.

I'm taking Prozac. The first several days were ugly (doctor warned me they would be) but told me if I could ride it out, it would get better after a week. I was having anxiety attacks and my mood swings were enhanced. That lasted 4-5 days, but no side effects after that. I've been taking 20mg. My options now are either 40mg every day, or alternate 20mg & 40mg. The first couple days I'm taking 40mg just so if I get anxiety again it's over the weekend, but then will try alternating & see if that does it. I'd rather take the lower dosage if it works but is good to have an option if it doesn't.

Went for a run today. Bumped up from four 7:00 intervals to three 10:00 and it went well. I'm having a hard time increasing my cadence without increasing my speed too much.

Val hope you're having a good day!
