So I was looking back thru my calendar and realized that we all started our BL journey 30 weeks ago!! We've come a long way baby! Let's celebrate our wins for this past week as well as acknowledge our moments of weaknesses.

Unfortunately I have had a lot of weaknesses this past week and I'm up a couple of pounds and these moments of weaknesses are starting to become bad habits once again. But I am finally ready to admit that I've gotten away from my desire to workout and remain active. Oh sure, I have some moments where I go play basketball or go for a walk or something like that, but gone are the urges I used to have to go in front of the TV and put some kind of workout on. I used to put the Daily in Daily Burn, and at times, would work out twice in the same day and I really felt off until I got my workout in. My three week vacation was a huge upender for me, even though I was able to work out a bit and do a few active things during it. Ever since I've been back, it seems like I've been catching up at work and with other areas and this extra effort to do so has crowded out my willpower to block off workout time for me. I put up with my shoulder pain without doing anything about it and allow it to be my way out of doing a real workout. I am sad when I think back at the past few weeks at my pathetic activity level and feel like all the hard work I've done along side of you is slipping away and I'm in danger of swapping out my 220# card for the one I turned in a while ago instead of the one I really should be obtaining.

Wow! That felt good to admit all that and I really don't want to continue on my slide. So the little pity party is over and it's time to crank up "Eye of the Tiger" or something along those lines and get back to it. The smoke from the nearby fires has lifted (hopefully for the rest of the year) so it's time to get back outside again and burn some extra calories as well as get back into some kind of Daily Burn routine again.

I'm inspired by your continuing progress Kristine, especially getting into lifting as you get closer to your goal weight. You go girl! I wanna hear more about what you are doing there to kick it up to the next level.

I do have a win that I'm proud of for this past week and it is that I finally finished off my DIY shelving project to make use of the too little side space in my garage. I'm happy with how it turned out and it should make my garage a much better place and less of a source of frustration. It opens up another area where I can setup easy access to my tools so that it's not such a pain to go do a quick fix of whatever needs to be done.
