21 Day Fix + Low Carb

I'm sorry if this has been asked before. A friend of mine is a new BB coach and is pressing me to try (buy) the 21 Day Fix program. I get the concept and I know it works for a lot of people, but I am not having any luck determining if it can be adapted to a LCHF diet. My friend just calls it "clean" eating, which is awesome, but those yellow carb boxes look giant to me from a keto standpoint. I am always willing to try something new, but I don't want to do it if it's just a glorified calorie restriction plan. And I am not interested in Shakeology. All the meal plans I have looked at online include the shakes.

I wondered if anyone had experience adapting the system or following a meal plan that worked for keto and 21 DF.

THANKS!

I refuse to waste anymore money on weight loss money making schemes. All of the information needed for me to live healthy is already paid for through my internet service.

I've owned the 21 Day fix and it does work but for keto I can't imagine it working. I needed I think 6 yellow containers a day which is 6 servings of starches and grains. The program is all about portion control. I believe I was eating 1300 calories a day. Funny though.... I eat 1900 calories a day with keto and lose more this way than eating 1300 lol

BTW if your friend is like most BB coaches she will push and push and push because that's how she makes money.....on commission.

I feel like you would have to adapt it so much that it wouldn't be useful. The containers are to help with portion control but if you don't eat those types of foods then they are just containers. I guess you could make the carb containers fat containers instead but then is it really needed.

She is trying to sell you it too make money, which I have no problem with. I'm in sales myself, though a different kind of sales, she must believe in it if she's willing to put her time into it. But it doesn't lend itself to the method you've chosen, does she sell other products, like workout videos or anything, if you're looking for a way to support her maybe you could try that since it may be more useful to you.

Yep, I've arrived at the same conclusion. I know she just wants the sale, but I will focus on the workouts if anything at all.

    Thanks all!

The workouts ARE good and I love that Autumn has a bigger size girl modifying for those of us who can't go full bore just yet but its waaaaaay overpriced for just workouts.

It's awfully expensive for a set of plastic containers you can pick up at the grocer for a couple bucks.

I wouldn't even buy the exercise program. The whole company seems too scammish for me.

The extreme program she has a diet called countdown to competition that is low carb. It's not keto, but you only have one one yellow serving per day, no fruit, more protein and tsp. It's high protein and low fat.
