I am doing stronglifts and I k ow my form isn't correct. So I bought Starting Strengh and have been reading it. So to reinforce whY I have been reading I have been watching Rippitoe's videos. Well, I came across this and was wondering what the group opinion is.

I can't see how his example of proper hip drive differs from what mark rippetoe teaches about hip drive. I think he has misunderstood what rippetoe is actually saying, because I haven't seen anything from rippetoe where he says to move the hips backward. i.e. they're both teaching the same thing, but he seems to have misunderstood what rippetoe is teaching.0

^^I agree
He has taken the video out of context.0 -
it's just 2 people who are talking about 2 different styles of squatting.
Rip squatting 315 for 10http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVKEl4Wxoqc
this kid squatting 350 for 10http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yx5xZJwpkCs
just 2 different styles.
Rip is obviously super popular and everyone takes his word as gospel and the only way to do things but they are both right, you need to try both styles and see what works for you and your leverages.0
