Yay for having internet Marla! I know you still have so much to do, but I bet it feels good to finally be starting to settle in.

Today I took a looooong walk down to the beach and back, approximately what I used to run and LET ME TELL YOU...running is so much easier! Honestly, I don't know what it is, but running that distance didn't feel nearly as bad as walking it. Anyway, glad I got it in.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Sherry - I hope the doctor finds out what's going on! Is the appointment about sleeping? And well done on getting that walk in!

Marla - How great it must feel to have that storage emptied out! It's been a long road for you and I'm so glad you will start working towards a new normal now!

Had friends over and we ate pizza. I still stayed within my calories for the most part, so I think I did well. Today I'm going to a vow renewal which will be on par with a second wedding almost. I'm supposed to MC the thing a bit, so we'll see how that goes. I'll have my three kids in tow, but she has five so when she says it will be fine...I believe her. I'm planning on making sure that half my plate is fruit and veggies, and once I've eaten that, work on the other stuff. Hoping that will fill me up so I won't devour a bunch of other stuff. Oh, and one piece of cake. :)

we also have made a decision regarding vehicles. We're selling the car my dad gave us, and then using the money towards some repairs and other expenses that have been looming over us. We'll drive my van until it isn't drivable anymore and then junk it and use the rest of the money at that time to get a new car for me. I feel a lot of stress relieved by this. Selling an old car seems stressful and a bit risky as it is old. I would worry that it would break on them, etc. I also think that having one major repair on the car shouldn't send us scrambling for a new one. My parents giving us a car opened and opportunity, but I would rather get all the use we can out of it first. So all that has relieved a lot of stress.

Still working through church stuff. But the curriculum we use during second service I now have worked out. I new we were on the last week of the old version and worked this week on looking through the new version of everything. It's a bit different and had to tweak a few things but got it set and hopefully (fingers crossed) that will be the last major thing I have to work through until I take over the first service prep.

Tomorrow I plan on updating my Seltember goals. It's been so crazy that I haven't been keeping up with them.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

Val all used cars are as is and we know that after a few years all cars can break down, besides thats why you will sell for used price. I just usually don't sell to anyone I know that way if something big did happen I wouldn't feel bad :)

Sherry I hope you can run soon, I know when you are used to a sport its addicting and you want to do that one. Meanwhile try to find a sport you can do that you like, something fun, tennis, dance, volleyball, ride a bike?

Yes feeling much better this morning but only got 4 hrs sleep, just so much to do when I woke up in middle of night my head spinned.

    Have a good weekend ladies!

Can't believe how hot and humid it is here for this time of year. I went out for a 5K run this morning and it felt like mid summer. I do think its suppose to cool off a bit next week.
We are going to town tonight, probably to dinner. Need to pick up a few things and a few groceries.

Val - glad that you finally got things figured out about the car and that you are feeling good about it. Always good to get some bills paid and repairs done. Good job with the pizza!

Marla - glad you have internet! Enjoy your walk on the beach today, sounds fantastic

Sherry - I hope you can get back to your running soon. It is frustrating when you can do something like that, it makes you want to do it all the more.

April - keep up the good work, you are on the right road!!

Tired, dirty, and happy just wanted to check in, feeling good. Did as well as I could today with a fall festival and then out to dinner with friends. Did not go for a workout, but still managed to get in about 2500 extra steps from walking around farm in boiling heat. Here's hoping everyone sleeps in tomorrow!
