Is it okay for a newbie runner (slow jogger) to run twice in a day occasionally?

Not really advised, but if it's a rare occurrence it shouldn't cause any issues. That is as long as both runs aren't workout type runs.0

Just intervals.0

I definitely wouldn't recommend it as a regular thing, and really it would depend on how far into the program you are. Some people would be fine doing it, others will break.

Nope not a regulat thing at all. Homework before run camp tonight. 3:3 x 5. Nothing taxing. We just move to 5:2.5 tonight, and I just need to get some movement out of my legs before that. I never was good at getting homework done when I should.0

So not the best decision I've ever made, but I live and learn. Did fine this morning, but these 6pm run/walks are killing me. I even ate some protein before, but it sucked. Lesson learned.0
