Home stretch, everyone! Are you going to have to push through this last week or so, or is it smooth sailing?
This is the best, or at least most consistent month I've had in a while! Going to keep pushing to see what I can make, but smooth sailing to hit the 100 mile mark.
22 - 5.2 = 88.4 miles and 10 days at 5+!!

My goal for September will be 120 miles (15 over 10,000 steps)
Week 1 - 21.4 miles (1/15)
Week 2 - 25.4 miles
Week 3 - 25.7 miles
Total 72.5 miles and 3 days over 10,000 steps
Sept 22 - 2.4 miles

We've been spending our TV time walking in place. Super easy to do and getting us both on our feet!0 -
Yesterday's steps...much less than my last job...weird cuz I am popping up and down so much.
Came home and collapsed...long nap. Brain should have gotten credit for the steps...it was fried.

We went and had dinner with family and sat and talked much of the night, so there wasn't much TV or stepping.

Magic, some days are just like that! I'm having a fried brain kind of day today!! And learning a bunch of new things (and names!) has got to be stressful!0

24 - 6.24...my BF was ahead of me in our weekly challenge! Had to show him that he wasn't going to win!!! We also enjoyed the nice weather and took a walk around our neighborhood after dinner.
Total = 97.8 miles with 11 at 5+0 -

Busy weekend coming up.... lots of yard work at home and at my mom's house. Sunday the kids are coming for pictures in the yard and supper.....oh dear - I will need to clean up my house too!! EEEKKKK!!!!0 -

Survived my first 1/2 week of new job. Now to catch up on the weekend so next full first week goes smoothly. Steps are off...but will straighten that out as I no longer need to crash after work. Yesterday was the first of the three days that I did not sleep for 2 hours after work. My brain is getting a work out....not my body.

I don't normally post on Sunday, but I'm at work, sitting...for 12 hours. Yesterday, we spent 6 hours in the car and 2 hours sitting in the hospital visiting with my mom. (She's been saying she's fine over the phone, but I had to see for myself. She's being difficult with the nursing staff and the MD said she'd probably go home today, so I guess she's doing all right. ) Steps definitely suffered as a result:
25 - 3.41
26 - 1.95
Total = 103.16, 11 at 5+0 -
27 - 2.07 = 105.230

Good morning...up, having first cuppa...sorry bout your mom, mlh ...sometimes when they are being difficult means they are getting better. She got a nod from the MD...that's good.
Did lots of straightening up yesterday...putting things away ... and laundry...things that did not get done for over two weeks. That is how I got so many steps...well, for me.

Had another low mileage day. Working on Sunday has thrown me off!! I was headed to bed by 730 last night! I'm usually up til 10. I'm so ready to be headed out on vacation!!! Honestly, I'm ready to just lock myself in a closet somewhere and pretend like there's nothing going on outside!! What a stressful few weeks it's been. I did make it to the grocery yesterday and bought and planned for our meals until we leave next Thursday (will have to get some fresh items, but most everything else is covered).

Sorry I did not get here til now...(new job is very challenging)...I am happy for you that you will soon have a get a way...vacay time. Hang in there until then. Fresh food will help with keeping your emotions under control. The one thing we do have control over, what we eat. Hope today was better for you, mlh!

New job is challenging...two hours sleep last night...total meltdown yesterday...so much crying. Today was better...much better. I have a very caring supervisor who gets that I am so overwhelmed. She broke things down for me a bit...very caring person. I just might be able to do this. In fact I know I will.

Oh Magic...sorry for the bad day. Hopefully it was a reboot after the meltdown. Yay for a caring supervisor! Sometimes it just takes a new perspective for things to click.
Mom's still in the hospital (hospital acquired infection) but she's where she needs to be and is behaving for the most part. (Apparently she told off someone in CT who started and IV, told her it wasn't right but would make it work, and then it blew making her have to get another. I probably would have also. LOL...at least it wasn't one of her unit nurses!!) She's still in good spirits and improving, and now that they've found the location of the infection, can target it. Hopefully we can get her well and home before we leave.
Yesterday was a much better walking day:

Morning...just a quick hello on this last day of September...coffee, dress, walk the dog, breakfast and out the door.
Made make ahead burritos cuz mornings are fast...out the door now by 6:40...that will help me with my morning duties at work...getting there a little earlier...may have to be out the door by 6:35. Anything to take off a layer of stress...anyway, enough bout that. Did sleep some...a lot more than the day before.

I feel your pain, Magic! I have to be AT work by 0530! (It's really nice to leave for home by 2 pm, though!!) I've started boiling eggs in advance and grabbing yogurt to have with it. Also bought some microwave sandwiches and sometimes make a bowl of oatmeal...all of which I can have once I get to work (not all of them together). I've done the burritos before and had planned to do them a few weeks ago, but never got around to it.
I didn't hit the # I wanted to yesterday, but still finished with over 100 miles.
30th - 3.12 = 115.88 and 12 days at 5+
October is going to be interesting. We are going on vacation from the 8th - 18th and going to be out of the country for most of it. I haven't decided if I'm going to add international to my phone and continue to upload my steps, or if I'm going to completely unplug and not worry about it. I really don't want to lose my streak on here, but I would also like to be able to completely relax. (If I stay connected, I'll be checking facebook, news, all the things that continue to stress me out daily!) Onward and upward, though! Way to finish everyone!0 -

I know what it is like to leave early for work... and the struggle to eat properly for breakfast and even what to have for lunch... And then trying to work in exercise to a busy day.. my Naturopath Dr. yesterday said I should get up at 4:30 a.m. and do half hour of exercise before leaving for work... wow ... I don't think I can do that, because I would wake up grouchy and he would be grouchy all day!! ha ha ha !!!0

September was a success! I made a change to my workout schedule for the next 3 weeks as a way to hopefully wakeup my system
