Reaction to coconut flour or almond flour?

So it doesn't happen every time, but I've noticed that sometimes when I use almond flour or coconut flour as breading for my pork chops or when I cook with them (usually just pancakes) I get an immediate stomachache that lasts a couple hours and then dissipates. Does this happen to anyone else?

No, but pay attention to your body.
Do some experimenting to make sure that it isn't something else, then plan accordingly.0 -
I've never had this happen with either; coconut or almond flour. I agree with PP; experiment and see how your body responds.0

Yup. Almond flour does that to me. Although, I have to consume it in mass quantities for that to happen. How did I learn that? I ate half of an 8 X 8 pan of LCHF brownies made with almond flour and felt super nauseous the rest of the night. However, when I only ate two pieces the next day (I couldn't stay away even after my tummy ache), I felt fine. I guess binge eating is bad in all forms - even LCHF hahaha.
Try maybe reducing the amount of almond and/or coconut flour you use and see if that helps. If not, maybe they just don't agree with you. Everyone's different.0 -
Hmmm, now that I think about it... it may be when I've had a second pork chop or doubled my usual pancake serving.0

Almond flour causes my insulin spike reaction.. I'm not sure why. I even got the skinless almond flour too. I've yet to have that reaction with coconut flour, but I've only used it once.0
