Marla - oh the joys of adjusting to a new area right? Bummer about the hubby being a downer! Nothing worse then to be excited about a beautiful walk only to have someone not appreciate it. Sounds like you'll have a great weekend!

Sherry - I really hope you're able to see the doctor today and that they actually take you seriously! I'm sorry about the leg issues...wish I had some incredible insight for you but I don't. :(

I did my time trial yesterday and dropped almost a minute on my mile from the previous time trial. I ran it in 9:53! I'm stoked and gives me hope that I'll survive this marathon! I'm bringing the kids to running club this morning, then heading off to pick up my roommates and heading off to San Diego! I should still be checking in with everyone there as well. Not tracking calories, just gonna relax and thoroughly enjoy myself. I am doing a run on the beach, and a long run on the boardwalk while I'm there in the gorgeous weather!

    Have a great weekend!

I really like today's thread starter! Thanks for sharing that one.

I just skimmed the last week's worth of posts. Didn't realize it had been that long since I've been here. Still kind of muddled in my own little world. Sounds like everyone has been busy!

I had two options for my medication and started with the lower dosage one, which I decided wasn't enough, so I bumped up to the higher dosage option and finally feel like my moods are stabilizing again. And then I got sick. Tuesday I started feeling cruddy at work so I skipped my run and went home to rest. Wednesday I stayed home. Thursday I was back to work but canceled my Jason session (for the first time ever) and went home and slept for 2 hours. Back to work today and still not feeling very good. I have a massage after work, and then don't have any commitments this weekend so hopefully can rest up & feel better.

Marla, sounds like a nice weekend getaway!
    val, well done once again!
Laura, glad you got your med sorted, hope you feel better soon.

Well today was a bust. Lil girl is full blown sick and stayed home. I know it happens a lot in kindergarten, but she's always had pretty good immunity and been exposed a lot already due to her brother. Maybe this is just a fluke. Anywa, I cancelled appointment and stayed home. Had to leave her here for a few while I picked up son from school and then skipped the tutor. Hoping she'll feel better over the weekend. Dh is stressing about all he needs to do for the trip and will be leaving a few errands for me which I'll try to get done first moment I can, so I'll be able to start my own projects then. Just two mor days. Hopefully within another week I'll have a good routine, including exercise.
