Week Sept 27th GOALS and progress

Hmmm....finished major goal of triathlon but major life changing torn calf muscle
Sooo....no running or long bike rides for a while....scared of even more weight gain.
1. Careful calories and healthier eating...at conference all week so gotta choose life over food.
2. Focus on swim and core strengthening...explore aquafit and water jogging
3. Gentle bike rides and walks
4. Lower calories on non swim days
5. Lose 2 pounds ( gained 5 pounds this month by not logging and snacking
6. Log 100%
7. Under calories x 5 days at least.uam18ie0degf.jpeg

    Need to get stress levels under control can feel my ulcer acting up.
    Have taken up eating candy even though I count everything It's something I got to cut down on.
    Biggest problem is stress so I will concentrate on that this week.

    Just back from a weekend vacation so need to get back on track. Didn't go too crazy with food but at restaurants I did pretty much order what I wanted. Only got dessert once -- a milkshake.

    So for this week:
    1. Drink water!
    2. Exercise (Did do some walking around this weekend but there was a whole lot of standing in lines)
    3. Make good food choices & LOG

    Did OK at conference.... Walked and biked from hotel.... Ate much more processed food than usual but no sweets even when offered free daily! Internet dysfunction at hotel so did not log at all.... Gentle workouts.... Ended with nice 8 mile state bike trail ride... Good for the soul and injuried calf muscle did OK... Victory for one day yesterday... No night snacking after work! Have gained five pounds since switching to evening shift so a good start to a new habit..
