Avocado - Haas?

Hi all,
I am just starting my first day on LCHF, and am very excited! I did a big grocery shop yesterday and have all of my food planned for the day. One of my items for lunch is an avocado, and I see that carb count for avocados can vary a lot depending on what kind they are. My question is, how do I know if I have a Haas avocado, which appears to be the lowest in carbs. I googled it, and just do not know how accurate it is. The sticker just says Product of Mexico, and there was no indication of type on the sign at the store. It is a round, dark green avocado with lots of bumps. I live in BC, and don't think we get a large variety of avocados in our stores, it is safe to say that the typical avocado is Haas?
Apologies for the ridiculous question! LOL.
Cheers,
Kat

I think you probably have a Haas. It sounds like it from the description but I must admit at my store I've only see the Haas and something called a slim-cado which has very smooth skin.0

I'm in BC as well and haven't ever seen anything other than a HAAS avacado. There's fiber in it too so the carb count isn't horribly bad. Enjoy!0
