i used to be a long distance runner and calorie counter... Never could lose weight or get toned... My body was happy and I was not... Last spring I discovered lchf and stopped running and stopped counting. Now I just limit my carbs and eat lots of yummy fatty foods; I workout when I want and train Jiu Jitsu 4 times a week... Here's a visual from last May until today:

Nice job! I can only hope my belly shapes up half so well. I like to run, though, one of my goals is to get the last of the flab off so I can.

Hey we all took the long path to LCHF I think. :) Clearly it is working for you as it has for many others.

I was not able to workout yet the fat melted with me staying full most of the time. I do some IF but not of late.

Awesome! I'm just starting the journey after several years of reading about the benefits and listening to podcasts. The thing that finally hooked me was the connection between grains, the gut, and depression (thanks, Dr. Perlmutter) as well as hearing about people's seasonal allergies being eliminated by reducing carbs. Losing my belly fat is another good motivator, so thank you for the inspiration to keep going!

And I intend to keep on running on LCHF. Planning on some really long events next year
