Weekly Male Stop (June 23-29)

Hey all,
I thought I'd start this out for a new week. I used to start these on Fri and go to Thursdays because I typically record my weight on Fridays. But, I think that was confusing. Maybe it's easier to have the thread go from Sun-Sat. We will see.
What am I going to do this week? It's my last big push for my June goal of getting back to my per-vacation weight of 198...
- Stay the course on my daily calories
- At least 3 cardio sessions, but aim for 4-5 sessions.
- Maybe I can get a couple small weight lifting sessions in, just to get myself started.

Where's everyone this week? LOL! I'm talking to myself in here.
Anyways, heading towards humpday, I'm doing good this week. Staying below my calories and have averaged 3 miles of cardio for three days in a row. I don't plan to slow it down. I doubt I hit my goal of losing the ~8 lbs gained on vacation, but I'm giving it one hell of a try.
Oh, and I think I drank enough water today. 80-90 oz? I'm sloshing right now.0 -
I'm still plugging away. I'm convinced my body is keeping me away from getting under 200 as some twisted retribution for treating it so bad. I get within 1 lb and then I'm up 2 the next day. I leave for Mexico on Saturday and would love to get below before I go just to say I did it, and then do what you're doing to work it all off again. They do have a gym at the resort so I'm going to hit that every day before I party like a rock star ( or an old fart who swims up to the bar and drinks the day away).0

I'm up and at 'em. I'm 7.5 miles away from my June goal of 60 miles walking (not counting the 2.6 I did walk/running yesterday afternoon). I won't get on my scale until Monday (but will have access to another one Friday morning, so I might check my weight on that one, but not record until I weigh in on Monday). I'm hoping to be below 210 on the next weigh in.0

Getting on track after 2-weeks of vacation aint easy. The Monday after, I forced myself to get started again. I'm glad I did. I think it will take 3-4 weeks of busting my *kitten* to get back to my pre-vacation weight!

Good job bro! I'm closing in on 40 miles so far this month even though I was on vacation for two weeks. I might just aim for 50 miles in July.

Hey fellas,
It's Friday and my weigh-in day. I didn't make 198 like I was shooting for, but I just might make it next week. I'm happy that I dropped 2.2 lbs and down to 200 though. I've logged walking events every day this week 17 1/2 miles. I won't record a walk today, but will be spending the afternoon cutting grass and doing yard work. Both burn similar amounts of calories.
I keep going back and forth on my goal weight. 180? 185? I don't know. My original goal was 200 by summer and I thought I'd know what weight I wanted by now. But, it's not really a certain weight. I just want to get rid of the gut and love handles. And if that's 185, then that what I'm looking for. Maybe it's 177? It would be cool to say I lost 70 lbs. :bigsmile: And I havent been 177 in like 20 years! We'll see.
