I'm not hungry, on maintenance. What now?

I am on maintenance and have manually given myself 1800 calories to stay at the same weight. It works, but what to do when I am not hungry and am nowhere near my calories for the day? Surely there must be someone out there with this dilemma.

This might be a good question in the "Goal: Maintaining Weight" section of the regular forum, because there may be more folks at maintenance reading/commenting there than here in "Over 50".

    Congratulations on hitting maintenance!

If you're a under calories for a day you can eat a more the next day. It will all average out over the week.
If you're consistently under cals and losing weight (not maintaining), you should start adding some calorie dense foods to hit your goal. Avocados, peanut butter, nuts, olive oil, etc.

Thanks! Will work on calorie dense foods. Ann, I don't like the regular forums...people can be cruel. Not that I am thin skinned, just don't need the bs.
