Ask your nutritionist. Every doctor's plan is different,

My doctor was fine with it so long as I ran them through an immersion blender until smooth, but as your doctor/nutritionist. I found them still too thick though in the first week or so. I mostly was on protein shakes as anything thicker would make me nauseous, even if I took it slow. So it was at least a week into my full liquid diet before I could handle them, much less something thicker like yogurt or cottage cheese (which were both on my full liquid allowed list). Everyone is different, and even if it is allowed, you may not be able to tolerate it right away.

I hated the canned creamed soups, so I made my own healthy soup, pureed it, put the recipe in MFP, and ate it for 5 days. I got very tired of it, but it satisfied. It was thick, so I used milk to thin it out. I'm sure of you made a healthy, from-scratch soup, & made sure it had some protein, it would satisfy your requirements.
