So I did something a tad foolish today. Because of my schedule I decided I needed to get my daily swim in first thing. And I didn't have time for breakfast. So I think I induced my first 'low blood sugar' incident.
I tested my BGL after the swim, and it was at 73, which is about my lowest ever reading, but still in the 'normal' range for fasting BGL.
Then I hopped in the shower to get ready for the rest of my day and as soon as the warm water hit me I got really nauseous. Felt like what I have read about low blood sugar, but I don't have anything to compare it with. It was probably an hour after my bout of exercise. It passed after about 30 minutes once I just sat down and concentrated on my breathing for a bit.
It really felt like the warm water was a trigger. Does anyone else know of a link between warm water and a low sugar incident? Or am I blaming something else entirely on low blood sugar?

Warm/hot water can raise your blood pressure... that combined with the lower blood sugar could have caused the symptoms. Especially after being in the cooler pool.0

I have had warm water episodes when taking a long hot soak...never thought to tie it in with low blood sugar, but it does seem a bit like that, now that I think about it... shaky , light headed...0

A hot shower lowers my blood pressure. I've had to divide up my blood pressure meds to taking some at noon when I eat and some at night before bed. If I take them all at night I"ll be light-headed in the morning during/after my morning shower due to the hot shower water expanding the blood vessels in my skin causing my blood pressure to drop.0
