I've been too busy at work to check in, and too tired when I get home to check in. Pretty much healthy again, but my stomach is still a little cranky about the antibiotics. I took the last one yesterday so hoping it settles down soon. I just switched to a different brand of probiotic (the one my mom swears by) and I think it works better than my old one.

Yesterday I got up early and did a new circuit class at the gym. Five stations, 2 exercises at each (i.e. jump rope for 50 seconds & 10 ball slams; 10 bridges with your feet up on a bench & 10 2-point rows with each arm, etc). You go back & forth between the 2 exercises at each station as many times as you can for 5 minutes, have a short rest break (was a minute yesterday but will be 30 seconds going forward because that felt like too long), and then start at the next station. It was a good workout. They have night ones but I went to the 5:30 am one because a friend said she'd meet me at that -- and then she didn't come. I knew the instructor, though, and one other person in the class. Had a busy day at work, walked out with the start of a pretty fierce headache, and hit the trail. I ran the first mile then walked another 0.8 to get back to my car and called it a day. Legs were tired from the morning class but I needed the air and exercise after sitting at my desk having to focus all day. This morning I got up early & dropped my car off at the dealership for an oil change, tire rotation & am getting a remote starter put in before winter. That meant leaving the house by 6:15 so I could drop it off at 7:00 & get the shuttle to work by 7:30. I got here a little early so I figured I'd stop in and say hi. But now it's 7:33 so I better get to work.

Sherry glad you found a good doctor. Keep us posted.

Sherry - So glad you found a doctor you like! Hopefully you'll get all this figured out!

Marla - Yeah, it's pretty hot here in the summer. But it's shorter than the winters I experienced back in MN. We just get cooped up for a few months while it's super hot. The other benefit of here is the heat comes from the sun, but not humidity. So it'll be 120 during the day and still be 80s before the sun comes up. So I get to run and bike outside year round. I just have to get up early. :). But we are definitely ready for the heat to go away! Mid to lower 90s the next ten days! Which here is actually pretty nice out! The dry heat does help once we drop under triple digits. :)

Laura - a remote starter will definitely be nice this winter! Your class sounded fun, and I'm glad you're feeling better!

A bit bummed, my alarm didn't go off this morning. So I missed my bike workout. I might try to squeeze it in this afternoon, but that's only if hubby has homework to do. We don't get much time together over the weekend so if he wants to hang out, I won't be getting that workout in. But, I didn't skip the bike purposely so I'll not beat myself up about it. A missed workout is not the end of the world. Especially when I was ready to do it and skipping was an accident.

Excited to try making a new chicken tortilla soup today! Hoping it's super tasty!

I'm off to get ready. Have a great day everyone!

Laura hang in there you'll finish antibiotics soon. And the starter sounds great for your area of cold.

Val you always sound so busy, my life since we moved is pretty busy and lol I am not used to it anymore!

I feel like a crazy old middle aged lady, hubby just finished painting my long hallway lavender, my living room will be rose/coral and my kitchen/dining room green. I want color in my life after years of whites and browns! I plan on getting one of those long Persian throw rugs in hallway with burgundy in it to tie some of the color together.

I have friends coming tonight, staying in motel since paint is barely dry and stuff moved all over getting ready to paint. I know she will gag at my colors since she is in the browns category. :)

I woke up feeling a bit off physically again, I can't seem to keep my sinus good around here, but I here the dampness of ocean takes awhile. And my back hurts a bit. Thank god for friends coming it is forcing both of us to take a few days off most of it. I got a ton of boxes done yesterday. I have 12 boxes left in dining room and I think I started out with 30 or more but a lot were small ones.

Hi all. Sorry I'm exhausted again from going non stop. Again, 26000 steps so definitely no time for anything else (and I DO take the bus and metro half the time, really I do!) just lots of running around. Dr again this morning and again tomorrow morning plus all the kid school stuff and son taekwondo, etc.

will try to be more participative as soon as I can get settled down.
