Keto & Calories

I'm rather new to the keto way of eating. I was wondering if any of you just watch carbs and ignore the calories or do you track both. From what I've read while researching keto diets you don't need to worry about calories to much (I know you can't have a free for all though). I ask because I feel like my old mindset is rebelling a bit & wanting me to keep those calories low but at the same time I know that a reduced calorie diet didn't work for me in the past. Do you mind sharing what your calorie count is for the day?

You can friend me and look at mine if you want. :) I'm new to this too--so I'm still tweaking. There are a bunch of Keto groups on Facebook, as well as info on Reddit and YouTube videos.

I count both as I can easily overeat my calories for weight loss and not bat an eye. Yes, even on keto. My weight loss cals were 1200-1400/day when I started at 182 lbs. I'm practicing maintenance right now.
