went apple picking today with the family first thing i enjoyed walking without gasping for air do

wn 45# 2nd thing what to do with all these apples im 2 weeks post op maybe baked?? apple sauce?? apple butter? any ideas?

    Don't go too nuts with the apples. The calories can add up fast, and while natural sugar is better than processed sugar, it is still a lot.

    Prepare as if for pies. Then freeze. You can give a store bought crust and a container of "filling" as an apple pie hostess gift during upcoming holiday season.

    Every year I get a ton of apples and make unsweetened apple sauce (I use it for baking and cooking), apple chips and apple pie filling that I use in gift baskets around Christmas.

    Apples are good for. Try to have a variety of fruits. :-)
