Does anyone have a good lc bread/mug bread recipe? There are so many lc alternatives for sweets but bread is my absolute weakness!

I've done the veggie alternatives but sometimes I just want a "real" sandwich!

Bonus if it doesn't have much/any almond flour, since it's so dang expensive!

I'm also open to store bought alternatives but the options seem to be limited where I live (Hawaii, so far I've only seen lc tortillas) and everything is soooooo expensive (as is shipping from pages like netrition :( )

There is a list of websites in the Launch Pad (at the top of the group forum page). Most of them have some form of fake bread. I've heard mixed reviews, but have not tried any myself. I've heard that "opposite rolls"are good. Look at the sites, or just Google any recipe including the words "keto" or "low carb" in the search too. Options are really endless! Good luck!

To get away from the almond flavor, look for more of the recipes with flax meal. Personally, if I'm really desperate, I'd go for Joseph's Lavash Flatbreads in the deli section. Relatively low net carbs ... like 4 per pita/flatbread... I've yet to perfect any of that muffin stuff! Some folks here have, though.

This is the absolute closest thing to bread I've found. It does require a bread machine, or you could do it by hand I think if youre good at that kind of thing. It's chewier than carb laden store bought, but it's definitely the key to a real sandwich. You could sub out the yogurt with another half cup of water and leave out the walnuts but it's tastier with.

I'm also going to turn this into cinnamon raisin bread soon.lqqbji9bd3br.png

Here is my favourite morning toast bread -- takes 5 minutes to mix, nuke (I use a cereal bowl) and then split and toast in a toaster oven. Great with butter! http://www.djfoodie.com/One-Minute-Muffin
