I don't know if there is a correct breakdown of macros. I would assume that carbs are lower than most at 30% or lower. Most people start protein around 20% and some go up to 30+% . The rest is fats.

My macros are 70-75% fat, 20-25% protein and about 5% carbs, but I am aiming for a ketogenic diet so my carbs are lower than most.

That works out to about 115g fat, 85g protein and 20g carbs on a 1500 calorie diet - for my size height and weight loss.

    My macros are 40% carb, 30% protein & 30% fat with about 1500 calories/day.

I seem to "undershoot" my carbs & "overshoot" my protein & fat each day using those macros, so, if that trend continues over the next few months, I might consider changing it to 30% carb & 35% for protein and fat. For the most part, I'm trying to get use to eating less carbs so that if necessary, I can more easily lower them to keep my blood sugars down when I get off all my insulin.

I aim for a goal of: 35%fat/35%carbs/30%protein. I'm watching my carbs, not on a low carb diet.
