Have you lost any weight since cutting back?

Hey Everyone,

Just curious if you have found that you lost more weight since cutting back on alcohol during the week?

I thought I might be pregnant (I wasn't) a few months back and I lost like 5 lbs in two weeks! A lot considering I'm already at a healthy BMI of 22. While I am mostly trying to cut out weekday drinking for health reasons I think it may also help me to get down to my goal weight.

    I have noticed a definite correlation with a week I have even one drink and not losing weight even though every thing else is the same. For some people it isn't a big deal. But for me it makes a huge difference! I'm trying to stay strong and not have a glass of wine tonight. I want the loss more than the wine.

    Sigh. I wish. I also wish id had a week w/out drinking! They r empty calories plain and simple. And sugary carby delicious empty calories :'(

    Since cutting it out during the week, I absolutely notice that even one drink makes me puffy the next day. And it takes a couple days for the puffiness to be gone completely. Ughhhhh. I am slowly losing weight but am also technically at a healthy BMI (I am at the high end of my healthy weight range). I know that cutting it out does a lot of good, not just for the scale but for my health in general.

    I have to cut alcohol completely out. I am an all or none kind of drinker once I start I can't stop. When I stop I lose weight.
