Yes that's a delicious looking cake. It's my birthday.
In Fargo visiting a friend & her girls while her husband is out of town. I wish I had half the energy her kids do. 0 -

Today I did all the cooking I was planning to do yesterday before we got that call...and then some. I had veggies needing to be cooked and I'll be gone all day tomorrow. Made hummus, and a Greek veggie dish in the slow cooker (never made it in the slow cooker before...turned out great). Also scrubbed and de-funked a ten year old boy so he can be a clean, shiny International fashion model tomorrow. He usually bathes himself, but I needed to make sure he was REALLY clean (you know, ten year olds). Waited all day for tmorriw's plan and finally got the text and made arrangements for lil girl. Gonna be weird leaving her with someone other than DH for such a long day. Starting off early tomorrow for location shoot (probably beach or mountains), and don't expect to be home until very late. Hoping it's not too stressful.0 -
Been super busy since I got to my daughters in Texas Thursday night. Today we are going to Octoberfest at small german town Muenster Tx. We are staying on base and I tell my daughter its like living in Pleasantville, very quiet, everyone polite, perfect yards, lol.
And since we are in officers neighborhood I am sure thats why its quieter than the younger single folks.
Been doing lots of walking her dogs for miles and in parks, so getting exercise. My stomach still having issues until yesterday. So being very careful what I eat especially when going out.
