Zoodles

I just wanted to throw this out there and see whether others have found this useful in packing in more veg and fewer refined cards: the Zoodle.

A Zoodle is spiralized zucchini (zucchini noodle) and in addition to spiralized carrots, beetroot, sweet potato, and just about any kind of fairly hard fruit or veg, one can turn plants into spiral noodles to stand in for the starchy kind.

I have only just got my spiralizer recently and there isn't as much literature on vegan spiralizing as on other food topics. It is, however, fantastic so far. The zoodles etc. are extremely filling despite being only raw or blanched zucchini.

At present, they are helping me ditch snacks and sugar as these are my weaknesses. I feel so satisfied after a Zoodle meal that I can go for hours without a thought toward food.

What about you? Do you spiralize? Have you tried it? What have the results for you been?

If not, does the thought of zoodles sound appealing or rather the opposite?
