RNY on 9/1/15 and going strong

I started my RNY journey in January when my doctor and I discussed what I needed to do. I was 311 lbs. I had my surgery 9/1/15 and was 284. Doctor insisted I do a physician guided weight loss for 6 months prior to surgery and lose 20 lbs. I lost more then the 20 before surgery.
Currently I am 248 lb and my goal is 180-190. I figure another 63 lbs to go.
I have many health issues with arthritis, degenerative disc disease, bulging discs, IBS, chronic migraines, fibromyalgia, and a few other issues.
At my top weight of 311 walking was painful and difficult. I had no energy and used a cane. Since my weight loss I only use the cane occasionally and my pain has decreased some. I have more energy but I use it up fast with my exercise routine. Today is a bad fibro day....I over exerted myself Monday and yesterday and am paying for it today. It is a struggle everyday to get in the exercise I need.
Since surgery I struggle with getting enough fluid in (suppose to get 60 oz per day minimum) and get all my protein in ( 90 grams per day). I am losing my hair because I am lacking the nutrients I need (protein) to grow and keep my hair. However I wouldn't go back and change the fact I had surgery. I am loving the changes I see everyday and that I am feeling better.
I hope to make some friends on here to chat with that is looking for support and willing to give support when needed. Maybe even challenge each other to keep up our spirits and get to know one another.
Merry Meet to you all.
