Final stretch!

How's everyone doing?? Are your goals in sight or going to need a kick in the rear?

    My goal with vacation miles was 120. I think I'm doing alright to get there.

    22 - 2.36 miles = 93.5 miles and 8 at 5+

    26.5 miles to go in 9 days is about 3 per day.

    Had a rough weekend. Went to sleep when I got home on Friday, think I slept about 18 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Going back to the MD today. :/ They told me to call this morning if I wasn't better. Going to, and hopefully leave work early - it's so hard coming back after vacation, especially feeling awful!!! I have a ton of laundry to still do, after the lazy weekend.

    I have some miles to make up, but got the fitbit charged yesterday and ready to bust my behind this week to make goals!!

    23 - 2.0
    24 - 1.31
    25 - 1.18

    Total = 97.99 miles with 8 at 5+

    30 miles to goal ...

    So leaving the retreat everyone waits for the elevator and a cart to haul stuff...so to get some exercise in the beautiful weather....I used the stairs and made several trips to my car with my things. Just a little muscle building going on there.. ha ha...

    Today - took the day off work and am going to dig and wash the parsnips. The weather is cool but sun shinning and no bugs... yeah!!!

    Thanks Magic! It's ear infections. I'm on meds and actually feeling somewhat better but having some pressure and the NP said to come in today if they didn't start clearing out. They are getting me in this afternoon (boo...only get to leave work about 30 minutes early!) and I'll have a hearing test and then a procedure to remove the gunk and hopefully get my hearing back!! Makes it tough when your job is on the phone! LOL. Fortunately, it's just muffling things and making it hard to discern between 2 sounds at the same time, and not taking away my hearing completely. My balance is also off, but probably partially due to getting off the ship a week ago (last time, without being sick, I swayed for 3 weeks). The weird thing is that when I was a kid, I never, NEVER had ear infections (I even asked my mom, thinking that maybe I just didn't remember and she said no). I had my first one at the age of 28 and have had at least 1 every year since - sometimes more. :( The older I get, the more childhood disease I keep getting! Strep was awful as an adult and just a few years ago, I had hand/foot/mouth. LOL

    Good job Lilymay on getting some extra steppage! I'm hoping to have us moved and in a place where I have a garden by next summer/fall. Working in the yard/garden sounds so peaceful!

    27th - 2.02 = 102.4. I'm going to have to step up the last few days to hit 120. Ears are starting to clear up a little, later in the day, anyway, so hopefully I can find the energy to get some steps!!!

    Well, I let it go for the end of the month. Finished with 8 at 5+.

    29 - 2.11
    30 - 2.2
    31 -3.02

    Total = 113.38 miles (not 120, but better than previous months)

    I'm ready for November! Still improving health-wise. Not as quickly as I would like, but getting back to normal.

    Way to go Magic, Lilymay, and Adc...wow!!!
