Hey everybody, I'm wondering can anyone suggest or recommend a relatively "clean" dip mix... you know, the kind that comes in a packet and you mix it with sour cream. I'm actively working on eliminating unfermented soy and canola oil from the foods I eat. Along these same lines, I am also looking for a bullion cube - preferably the powder you can mi with water - that is also relatively "clean." All suggestions / recommendations welcome! Thanks in advance.

I would imagine that any of those "make your own version of the mix" things you can find online, for like "make your own ranch mix" would work... I don't know about the others, though...

I use GoBio! Organic Chicken Boullion Cubes. They are one of the few cubes without gluten, and are free of msg.

I just start adding to sour cream for a dip. The other day I just added salt, onion powder and garlic for pork rind dipping. It was "okay", but not up to sharing / company standards.

Dill is always nice to add to sourcream.

Hmm, thanks for the input ladies! I did actually find a bouillon cube that will work for me. I purchased one of the vegetable and one of the beef flavor of that kind from a store near me this past week-end. I also found a recipe for homemade chicken bullion powder online and I might try that one. I'm still looking for a dip mix but I'm not in a big hurry where that is concerned.
