Out of Commission for 3 Weeks - Plantars Fascitis

Hello, Everyone:
I have been having some pretty severe pain in my left heel, on and off, and now it's to the point where it's constant. I had it checked and I have "Plantars Fascitis" in my left heel. All I can tell you is that it is extremely painful and feels like someone is driving nails into my left heel.
The remedy for this is a foot brace, ice and ibuprofen. NO RUNNING for me for 3 weeks! I am bumming because I am in the C25K groove and don't want to stop.
I get rechecked on November 14th and hopefully I will be good to go.
I will continue to post the workouts, on schedule, so you can all keep going. I will jump back in as soon as I can.
MAKE SURE YOU STRETCH THOSE TENDONS BEFORE AND AFTER YOU RUN! SOOOO IMPORTANT!
Dee

Oh no... You were doing so well, that's just not fair. I just read up about it and of course it would be more common in women; what's new??
Nothing that can be done about it, make sure you follow the doctor's orders, and we'll all be waiting for you to join us again in mid November!0 -

Thanks, Mangsney, I will be here, cheering from the sidelines. I am going to swim in the meantime. I will still post workouts and resume with Week 5 when I am "cleared."0
