What great decisions will you make today?
No matter how large or small, please feel free to share!
I'm learning my journey is about planning, making & celebrating good decisions. AND making it a daily priority in my life. It's the only way I can ensure my success!

Today, despite my desire to curl up in my fuzzy robe (it's really cold here!) I'm heading to the gym for sweat therapy. I'm also pre-cooking a ton of chicken for the week.

What positive things are you doing for you? Let's inspire each other.

Mine is not for today, but for later this week. When my girls go trick or treating this week, the "Switch Witch" is going to come overnight. This means they each get to keep 10 pieces of candy of their choice, and then the rest will be traded for a toy (SHOPKINS!), and the leftover candy will disappear. This way, they don't eat a bunch of garbage, and my wife and I don't have the temptation around us either.

Today my focus is on getting enough fluids. Yesterday was lower than normal for me. I'm already 17 oz ahead from this time yesterday, so I'm going good.

I have a follow up doc appointment today, so I'm trying not to get too keyed up about it... Even routine appointments make me uncomfortable for some reason! So not stressing...lol.

Last night, I made some poor food choices:(. This morning, feeling already defeated, I was going to stop for a fast food breakfast. I rationalized that I might as well, since last night knocked me out of ketosis anyway. Instead, I drove past. I will not worry about calories today, but I will get back to LCHF eating. I will Not let a one night mistake turn into a binge fest!!!!

BINGO! That's a hard slide to get out of sometimes - why do we do that to ourselves?

That's what we do in our house too. :)

I wanted to binge so bad yesterday, but instead of stopping by the grocery store and loading up on all kinds of carbage I had an extra meal. Still went over my calories by about 600, but I was within my macro ratio, and very little carb was consumed. And then I went to the gym instead of curling up in bed with a book. Win.

Great plan! I love that idea. I saw a sign at my sons dentist - they take the candy & give the kids cash! I'll have to come up with a plan here.

I definately need to plan better! Probably been doing too much of the wrong kind of celebrating :/ So here are the great decisions that I will make today:

Drink 2 nalgene bottles of H2O, minimum.
    Stay out of the chips.
Lift light weights, do 50 squats, and at least 10 push-ups.
    Remember my vitamins.
Try hard to keep a positive attitude about work; yesterday was tough...
    Keep my carbs below 50!

My major decision today was not food related. I work online doing support and my hours got changed a couple of months ago to be more "intense". I now sit at a computer 3 days in a row 8 hours straight with no breaks. My posture was not great from carrying excess weight, but it got worse and now have severe rib pain which my doctor says is caused by not sitting straight when working. I try to get a 4000 step walk done before my shift and it helps a bit.

I found an expensive clip on posture tracker [like a fitbit] a couple of days ago and just made a decision to buy it.

Nice! I am also a desk jockey. Please share how it works for you. It might be good for me too.

Great decision! What is this posture tracker? I probably should get one also spend 1/2 a day at the computer and the other half driving my car and my posture is dreadful.

Excellent win, this is something I do when I have a bad carb craving, I usually just buy some nuts and a brie and eat the lot!

I had to drive back to the office today from an overnight meeting, which means that I got in late and couldn't take a lunch break and I have a doctor's appointment after work, so no gym time available today. Instead, I have decided to do some housework when I get home which will at least give me some workout points. Life is not always going to let you do what you want so my takeaway is to try to always have a Plan B so that I can continue to work towards my weight loss and fitness goals.

Having sirloin. Will be pretending it's a ribeye while eating it. It's grassfed though, from FIL's cow.
