I don't like the term losers, but liked the lists and perspectives.

Marla - I think messy rooms and work undone cause more exhaustion from stress than working hard. I bet it must be a relief to have some space cleared and organized!

Well, with middle child sick I had to spend most of the day rearranging my schedule so she could stay home and rest. Having a sick child is stressful. Emotionally draining, and mentally. Anyway, unfortunately there is no way around tonight. We paid for piano lessons for oldest, so she'll have to pack up in the van and head out with us. I go grocery shopping during the lesson and considering we're running out of almost everything I can't really skip that either. Oh well.

I skipped my run this morning. Everything just seemed to take longer last night and so I didn't get to bed on time. Then as I was falling asleep...and earthquake shook the house which definitely woke me back up! You know, living in Phoenix, I have never experienced and earthquake so it definitely startled me. Took a while to fall asleep again so I decided to bump back my run, then bike, then run. Which should work just fine for me this week. I'll still get them all in and have two rest and recovery days before my big race. I plan to do some strength training tonight.

Is there fracking in Arizona? I have noticed a ton more earthquakes since they started doing this. Being from CA most of us just ignore them since most aren't big ones.

I used to hate when my kids got sick too, in fact I still do, I hate to hear when my kids are sick and still force themselves to work or doing things for their own kids. Its hard when you can't do anything!

Woke up a few times hearing pouring rain, just cloudy now. Today we have to get our CA drivers licenses and take written tests. Ugh! I haven't had to for many years.

Hoping to have time on trail before we leave for DMV...i have appt only way to go there!
