Miscalculated ...Now what? *HeLp*

So today I was in a rush to get to work that I forgot my tuna at home so I decided to walk down the block on my lunch to buy a chicken breast from Whataburger......Problem is when it was time to enter in what I ate the dang chicken breast came up with 19 carbs and no fiber at all...What do I do? Will it kick me out of ketosis? I have a total of 31 net carbs for today and its only 2:30!....I'm :'( so upset !

    Can't do much about it, so don't stress. Just pick yourself up, dust off, and get back to it. You probably won't get kicked out of ketosis for 31 net, but try to skip the veggies and what-have-you with dinner.

    Did you eat the bun? I can't see a chicken breast alone being 19 grams of carbs. If you did eat the bun, just remember it's definitely optional and you can throw it away (that's what I do!)

    Could have been breaded or injected with/marinated in glucose/corn syrup/salt stuff... it was from a fast food place. Yeah, or @Jjsanchez1123 did the totals you found include the bun (even if you didn't eat it)?

    I bet that 31 grams of carbs won't be a problem at all. Lift weights for a half hour or ride a bike, if you're worried about it.

    Don't stress over that. I do question the carb count accuracy but even if it is 31g net carbs you will be fine. This isn't a one and done kind of thing. Your body still needs way more than 31g of carbs to function so it has to continue creating ketones. If you did eat enough carbs to not need to keep producing ketones to function after those carbs are used up you'd be right back to making ketones, no harm done.

    I was kicking myself 2 nights ago - on impulse I ate a GF free muffin my wife made -and failed to log before eating. it had more carbs than my daily limit. Never worry - I've lost 2 pounds since then.

    The totals on mfp says grilled chicken breast alone..when I read online it had so many ingredients that I couldn't even believe .No, I didn't eat the bun..I'm still doing the induction phase so I was really worried.. I tested with ketostix last night and it came out negative :(
