Fast food breakfast

Just moved into our new house 5 days ago. We would have been settled in by now, for the most part, except our whole house is being remodeled. My fridge is currently in the kitchen. I'm sharing my bathroom with construction workers. It's gross. All our belongings and pantry food are in boxes in the garage
I know fast food is full of preservatives but I don't have many options as of late. I have been living off McDonald's for breakfast. Any other recommendations for low carb fast food?

If there is a Krystals in your area they have a low carb scrambler(that's the actual name) which is my favorite. It is a cup with scrambler eggs, bacon, and cheese.0

Anything will get you by, just ditch the carbs, or have them leave it off. Places are really accommodating since they want your money. Don't be afraid to ask for what you want. I don't know where you are, but Waffle House, and Huddle House, are very good breakfast, and meal, options (just leave off the hash browns). Good luck, moving, and remodeling is a booger! Hugs! But yes, sharing a bathroom with construction workers is gross! I might have rented a port a potty for them, lol!0

We go to a local bagel place and ask for their sausage egg and cheese with an extra egg and no bagel.0

I have found that most McDs will provide their steak, egg & cheese sandwich with no bread. Sometimes I get a price break sometimes not.0

Is your fridge usable? Maybe stock some hard boiled eggs (you can buy them already hard boiled) Some yogurts, some slivered almonds. Pre cooked bacon too. Breakfast away from the house is tough for me. Most fast food uses some egg mix & I don't trust the carb content. Local diner fare is safer around here. Veggie scramble!0

@KeithF6250 have you tried the McD new 'round' egg that is fresh from the shell and cooked in real butter? I will try what you mentioned. I know their sausage contains three types of sugar but it must not be that much.0 -
When I was a teen (about 20 years), I worked at McDonald's. Even then, the round egg was a fresh egg from the shell. They're not cooked in real butter, unless that's new. They folded eggs are from a carton, but the round eggs have been real whole eggs for ages.
I will try asking if they have real butter to cook the eggs in, next time I go. I'm pretty sure they use a liquid (melted) margarine for them as a normal procedure (in the states at least).

Seems they have updated that part of their menu. That's a nice change of pace.0 -
When my #1 son was a teen (now 37) he developed his one handed egg opening skill while working at McDs, so in shell eggs have been in use for a long time. I don't know about the fat used. I thought their grill temp was too high for butter but I don't have anything to back that up. For my home use I like to use a 50/50 mix of butter & bacon drippings but that's for flavor.0
