Marla - I had to roll my eyes when I heard about your hubby's reaction to the fleas. Sometimes men are bigger babies about stuff then my own children! Congrats on being official CA residents now! Hope you heal quickly from your fall!

It's been a busy week for me! For the next couple weekends we have race things going on, so all my stuff I normally get done on the weekends I'm having to try and accomplish during the week.
Yesterday I did an open water swim with my hubby. Swam a little over a mile and it went fairly well. No big mishaps anyway, and my new wet suit seems to work well! I'm taking the next two days completely off. I have to get a bunch of chores done today and then we head off tomorrow for Lake Havasu. I need to get a few groceries...and I need to get some church stuff done this morning so that everything is set for children's stuff on Sunday since I won't be there. I also need to get some loads of laundry done since I won't get that done this weekend.
My big race is on Sunday! It's an Olympic distance triathlon, so a .9 mile swim, about 26 mile bike, and a 6 mile run. Esprit de She was my first triathlon I did without major bleeding problems going on, and I got a flat tire on the bike right off the bat. I still did fairly well, but I'm excited to see how I do on this race without bleeding profusely, without issues with anemia, and without being sick! We drive out tomorrow to the race. First my own kids have a short obstacle course race designed for kids in the morning that I'm going to. My parents are meeting us there and then grabbing the kids and keeping them for the weekend. Then we drive up and enjoy ourselves at Lake Havasu! :)

I'm hoping to get a nice nap in today and maybe a hot bath as I work to let my muscles recover a little bit by Sunday! Have a great Friday!
