You gotta' start somewhere I have always heard! I am not exactly feeling warrior-like, but I did get in about 25 mins on the treadmill and burned 150 calories. My dogs are a big part of my life and they started barking and interrupted my workout. They are not used to this new routine. There, I said it! New routine is exactly what I am striving for.
When I first bought my treadmill my friends kept saying "you don't need to diet, you just need more exercise!" So I would hop on it every day religiously for about 8 weeks. I ended up injuring my knee and had to have a scope done to remove some torn cartilage. At that time I was tipping the scales at just over 200 lbs, the heaviest I have ever been. My point is, the time to start an exercise program may not be until you have lost some weight. It was enough to scare me away from the treadmill for awhile.
