Currently aiming for 3,500+ calories per day. I have been getting close to that on MFP but I do not track my drinks, as I feel like I am cheating my "calorie points" if I count my drinks (I drink a lot of milk and juice).
Breakfast includes:
Milk, cheese, yogurt, almonds, trail mix, blueberry muffins, poptarts, and granola bars, apples and peanut butter
Snacks include: cheese or peanut butter crackers, honey roasted nuts, beef jerkey
Lunch: Beef ravioli, chicken sandwhiches with mayo, chips, spaghetti, etc (usually a pasta)
Dinner: Whatever the wife makes
Which is usually BBQ chicken, or Chicken Alfredo, or Roast, Baked potatoes w/ a tall glass of milk
Everything varies obviously but that is a good example of my daily intake. I aim for like I said 3,000-3,500 calories. I don't find it hard to get there, but it is a task to constantly eat, and to always feel full and shove more food down your mouth when your not exactly 'hungry'. Currently doing a GOMAD diet to supplement, although its more like 1/2 GOMAD (Gallon of Milk a Day) as I usually only drink about a half gallon.
Its hard for me to find time on weekends to track but at work on the PC its super easy.
I don't work out at all. I weigh 130 pounds, 6,0 so you can imagine I'm pretty lanky...but I'm getting out of that rut soon. I do a lot of yard work and housework but nothing that would put me into a high activity level.
This is my 2nd week. Weighing myself weekly, the first week I only did this 4 days and gave up the 5th day because I got a migraine (not due to eating). I still gained 1.8 pounds that week though.
This week I should see a bulkier gain, as I've seriously increased my calories the last few days. I'm feeling a lot better, and my pants fit a little better now too.
I don't work out because I really can't afford a gym. I live in a small town where the cheapest gym costs $40 a month and thats not an option for me (college student life, you know the drill) but I do pushups/non cardio etc to mainly stretch my body out in the mornings, but nothing extreme as I said. The no-gym thing isn't that bad for me though because I NEED FAT, as it looks like when i examine my body that i have none! My BMI is probably 15 or 16 at last check.
How much does anyone think I can gain in 10 weeks? I'm going to the beach and don't want to look like a skinny rail!
