I liked this thread starter. I think too often I try to focus on being perfect. I'll hVe a bad day or week and then decide I'm going to get back on track...by trying to make sure I get everything right. It's a lot more realistic to focus on one or two small habits to change at a time! Looking back that's how I've gotten so far, just a few slight changes here or there that I maintained long enough for it to become a habit.

Marla - Going slowly on the house is a good idea. I definitely agree that should help prevent a burn out on everything! I was pondering getting a new scale because I'm not sure how accurate mine is. I'm going to try changing the batteries first.

Laura - It sounds like from your status that you enjoyed your swim class! Hope it went well! Yesterday went a lot better eating-wise so I think it was a delayed reaction to the race.

I did go to the zoo with the kids after getting them haircuts. I'm getting a haircut myself this morning too so we'll be all groomed for our trip to MN, I also cleaned out my bedroom since my parents are swapping houses with us, and I got some things prepped and planned for this weekend at church. I don't think I slept well the past couple of nights because hubby isn't feeling well and has been tossing and turning. Last night went better because he took some NyQuil, but the night before I slept for 8 hours...and felt exhausted when I woke up. This morning I'm tired, but mainly because I've been sleeping in this week so getting up for my run is a lot harder now.

I'm heading off for a 5 mile run this morning. I'm also planning on doing some strength workouts when I get back from Costco this morning. We'll see. Poor hubby has been working with our handyman neighbor to redo our back porch. It runs the length of the house and has been rotting underneath the shingles. So they dug out all the shingles (and discovered that the previous owners had just thrown on a second and sometimes third layer instead of redoing it when things went wrong) and replaced all the wood on everything. Today they just need to re shingle all the new wood. Of course he got sick the morning they started so he's been slightly feverish and coughing and blowing his nose while doing all this work. So he's been crabby but I can't really blame the poor guy. Hoping they get it all done today quickly so he can take a nap this afternoon or something to start to recover!

    Have a great day everyone!

I got one that supposedly sends a tiny electric charge and measures fat percentage too, let you know if it works.

No one ever answered me about fitbit watch, does anyone use that or something like it?

Did my walk yesterday with some hills, feeling more in shape daily! Yay! Today will do the same.

I have the Fitbit zip and like it, bought watch bands to wear as watch.

Had a late morning work call so I went over to the gym and made my call on the bike! Was very proud of self.

    Feeling tired but good.
