Marla - Sorry, didn't see your question about fitbits. I have a fit bit charge HR and I really like it. Mainly, I like how it tracks my resting HR and my sleep so I can see trends in how I'm doing. I've noticed my resting HR spikes before I get sick or if I'm allowing my stress to get to me.

April - well done on the stationary bike!

I did get a run in yesterday and even sucked it up and did a 6 mile run...and it felt good! I was worried after being sore from our race this weekend, so it was nice to get that run in and know I'm doing just fine. I have a 13 mile long run tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes! I was worried yesterday that I was starting to come down with whatever hubby had. But I had a decent night sleep last night and woke up feeling fine. So hopefully it was just the fact that hubby was tossing and turning so much that I wasn't sleeping well. He finally is well enough where he's not completely miserable.

Today I need to get the house ready to swap with my parents. Tomorrow morning they'll be coming here and staying with kids while Matt and I are staying at their house. So I need to clean up our room and change sheets tomorrow, and pack up hubby and I for the weekend getaway. I'm also trying to get all the laundry done and put away as well. Got all my church stuff done yesterday so I don't need to think about that until next week. My stress has gone down as things have been going smoothly at church and home the past couple of weeks...and that's with the stress of being gone every weekend. So I'm seeing some hope that I'm finally getting the hang of everything, that hubby is making a huge difference in my stress level now that he's done with school (ie he's actually helping with the kiddos and such), and that I won't feel constantly overwhelmed. Hope is a wonderful thing. To be honest, I think the reason I've struggled to lose weight is just sheer stress. I've had to live with a lot of stress for so long.

Anyway, I'm off to get the kids to school. Have a great weekend!

PS I just noticed that it's Friday the 13th....just a tad ominous. ;)

Are your parents in another town? No matter where its a great idea for couple alone time with no extra costs of eating out, motel, etc.

I feel like stress was my reason also. i am just taking it one day at a time and trying to stay positive, negative thinking pulls me down.

Just doing my daily walks now with more hills.

I'm curious about the house swap too. :)

Marla I've been on that same plan as far as trying to stay positive. Some days are easier than others.

I went to St. Paul today with a co-worker. We went to IKEA, got some furniture for both of our office locations, went to our St. Paul one to drop off their stuff, spent a few hours working there, then drove home. It was about a 10 hour day and there were a few things I needed to wrap up when I got home, but it was productive. I'm very happy it's Friday.

Rest day today for workouts. We got some snow last night but most of it melted during the day today and it's supposed to be in the low 50s this weekend so the little bit I have left should melt quickly enough.
