Low carb diets seem hard to commit to so I was wondering if some people could tell me how much they lost each month, progress pictures, and maybe some tips to staying on track!

The hardest part of the commitment is mental.
Many find that if they just go for it, the benefits themselves make it easier to stay on track.
I wouldn't lie. Just ask my friend Iron Man.
lol
I'm in a super goofy mood today.0 -
Read the launch pad (located at the top of the group forum page) and read every thread you can to learn about this way of eating (woe). Low carb high fat is life changing!!
Read others diaries (who log, I don't everyday, but there's lots there) to see what people are eating. I have found this woe to be the easiest ever, and most delicious!
Good luck to you!

It really hasn't been as hard for me as I anticipated. I'd gone lower carb for a while but recently dropped from 100 gm to 30-50 (I aim now to stay under 30 gm net carbs). I started this about 17 lbs above my goal weight and have already lost 8 lbs in 2 weeks.
I agree that the launch pad is a great resource. Since I just joined two weeks ago, I've found that very valuable! Tons of helpful posts on this board.0 -

I think most people find them hard to stick to for 2 reasons, one they are not doing LCHF (the high fat made a world of difference to me!). Second is they try to do artificial sweeteners in place of sugar (my experience only). I was so happy with my weight loss and no cravings after the first month that I thought it was time to add a low cal jello cream cheese desert, big mistake!!!! After a month of no cravings I experienced a whole day of wanting anything I could get my hands on.. Learned right then no sweets are going in my body! Lol
