Marla - that is weird they wouldn't have some kind of plan for bad weather. I also totally understand that antsy feeling. I am someone who is all about my expectations and I don't handle change well. So If I'm planning on staying in, I struggle to get the motivation to go do a last minute social thing. But if I was planning on heading out, I would feel antsy too if that got canceled.
Yesterday I rested up a bit. Youngest woke up with a fever so no school for him. But he acted fine, and seemed confused by the idea that he was sick. *shrug*. Hopefully he feels better today. My big blister is finally starting to heal. Not gonna run on it until it's better. I'm planning on doing some strength training followed by a nice easy ride on the indoor bikes this morning. Also need to go to the grocery store. Continuing to do some laundry and hoping to start packing for our big trip today. I want everything packed by the end of tomorrow so Friday I can prep the house for our house/dog sitter. I don't want garbage or dishes left for her to have to deal with.
Have a great day everyone!0 -
Right before the time the sun came out briefly and I drove over, other 3 people were there so being new i laughed at myself for caring about rain since no one else did! Lol
We started in open area and moved shortly to a covered area for rest of time when rain came again, i had a blast with the college kids and glad i went, it was mentally good for me!
At the very end while cleaning up a admin person said you can't be here this is area for students to walk through, (which was funny because it was large area and students while we were there had no problem passing us). Just glad she came later.
I go again in a few weeks.
Today sun is out and and so will i .... Going to do longer walk with hills since i did nothing yesterday.
