Updated Groups

As you may have noticed from the glitches this morning, MFP rolled out an update to the groups software.

Bookmarks seem to work now!

No idea what else has changed, but the formatting looks a bit different.

Yeah formatting is weird, and oversized images are now going crazy making discussions stretch.

I noticed that I get a little notification when someone posts in a discussion I've been posting in. I do like that!

I wish the "Recent / My / etc" discussion links at the top of the group actually kept you IN the group... that threw me for a minute, I almost went all Keto on a discussion about 0 cal snacks.

Yes. But can you search discussions in the group yet?
Until then, I will not be impressed.
Ctrl+F on each page works alright but is slowwww.

Yeah I just came back in to pout that there's still no search. That is the only thing I miss about the group being public. At least you could google only the group's discussions.

I am really irked that it seems to open the main LC group page instead of just the Discussions list... so I only see a few, instead of a longer list. Hate software updates that break what used to work fine...

Changes are no fun, but at least we are still here! I've been on other forums, in the past, that completely lost the group info after updates! I'm glad there figured some things out! Check your settings too, some of mine changed after the update!

I'm finding the text doesn't wrap on some of the threads to my screen size.

For example, the "Losing the last 5 pounds", and the "Do you force yourself to eat all your cals..." threads go off my screen,. Where as for example this thread has group members that appears along the right hand side making the text screen smaller. No consistency. As @Glossbones pointed out, it appears to have something to do with images posted on the thread.
